Cheri Flewell-Smith is an award-winning senior lecturer in design and creative technology at Torrens University and the founder of GOOD DEEDS LAB—a creative playground where art, design, sustainability and technology collide. She’s also the driving force behind WIDEN (Women in Design Education Network), empowering and elevating women in design education worldwide. With a multi-faceted career spanning advertising, marketing, design and education, her work has been featured in leading Australian lifestyle publications and includes collaborations with major retailers and creating campaigns addressing critical social issues. A firm believer in design as truth-telling, she is driven by one goal: creating a less scary tomorrow.
