Silvia will examine the troubling dimensions of digital design, highlighting how everyday devices can become instruments of control and manipulation, especially targeting the most vulnerable.
Passionate about typography and illustration, Silvia is a Designer and UX Researcher dedicated to crafting meaningful design. She is currently a Senior Product Designer at Design Group Italia, bringing 15 years of expertise from working across the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with organizations of all sizes, from startups to large enterprises. Silvia holds a Master of Science in Design for Fashion System from Politecnico di Milano and has further expanded her knowledge through an inter-university program in Fashion Management at UniversitĂ Bocconi. In recent years, her deeper involvement in the strategic processes of the complex healthcare sector has further strengthened her engagement in social and design research. With a sharp critical mind and a focus on individual well-being, she continuously reflects on her role as a designer in shaping lives, recognizing the profound impact of intentional design choices.
